I'm a charcoal artist focused on portraits and the human figure.

I study through Watts Atelier, working in the classical tradition: composition, construction of the head and figure, and careful observation of light and shadow. Charcoal is my medium because it can go from the softest halftone to the deepest dark in a single drawing.

Every drawing on this site is done by hand, on paper, from life or from photographs.
